Antonio Margaito challenges Manny Pacquiao for the middleweight belt in November, but he was without a sponsor. He approached the company Affliction, with a deal they could not pass up, according to the Business Insider.
Margaito got caught with plaster underneath his glove right before his 2009 bout with Sugar Shane Mosley, and this has not made him the most popular fighter to sponsor, according to the LA Times.
With this in mind, Margaito offered up a deal they apparently couldn't refuse. If Margaito wins, he gets a large sum of money that is in the five figures; if he loses, he gets nothing, zip.
